The following is a summary of benefits provided whilst working for HTSPE Ltd. It is the policy of HTSPE to aim for best practice in all aspects of our work. This applies equally to the treatment of our people. We would draw attention to the particular effort we make to ensure that we pay independents within 30 days of receipt of their invoice and supporting documentation.
Permanent Staff:
Standard

Manager of Support Unit:

A daily allowance is paid to those permanent staff below the level of Project Director undertaking assignments overseas.
Project Director & above:
As for Manager of Support Unit plus:
- Option of company car or cash for car allowance

All permanent staff undertaking assignments overseas are covered by the following insurance policies:
- Travel cover including medical, baggage (while in transit)
- Emergency medical cover including medical treatment and emergency repatriation
Fixed Term Contract Staff:
Fixed Term Contract (contracted to work in the UK)
- Opportunity to join company pension scheme after 6 months continuous employment or payment in lieu of pension
- 25 days holiday per annum plus statutory holidays
- Free squash club membership Fixed Term Contract (contracted to work outside the UK and outside their country of residence)
- Life insurance cover at 3 x annual salary (capped at £100K)
- Personal accident cover
- Travel cover including medical, baggage (while in transit)
- Emergency medical cover including medical treatment and emergency repatriation
- Insurance cover can be extended to cover leave periods at no extra cost
- Return air fares for immediate dependants
- Accommodation (or allowance) for duration of contract
Independent Contractors:
Independent Contractors (contracted to work outside the UK and outside their country of residence)
- Personal accident cover
- Travel cover including medical, baggage (while in transit)
- Emergency medical cover including medical treatment and repatriation
- Payment of approved invoices within 30 days of receipt
HTSPE do not normally ask independent contractors to accept pay-as-paid terms. However, in order to protect the company against the possibility that the client may reject a contractor’s work, we must reserve the right to make a 20% retention on all invoices submitted against satisfactory completion of the assignment. It will be clearly stated in the contract terms where this retention is to be applied.
